Many great movies have been filmed and based in Illinois but this is one of the most famous of all time for the state. 40th Anniversary of The Movie, “Sixteen Candles” One thing I miss from back in the day is the whole going to the movies experience. It’s just not the same anymore. There are so many more released every year and so many different ways to watch them, when a new flick comes out it doesn’t seem special.
