(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Police are investigating a shooting that wounded a teenager last night on the lakefront in Rogers Park.
The 18-year-old was in a parking lot near Touhy Avenue and Sheridan Road, according to police, just before 9 p.m.
Someone, only described as an unknown male offender approached, pulled out a handgun and shot him.
The 18-year-old had a gunshot wound to the right side of the torso. He was in fair condition at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
Police say detectives are investigating. Nobody is in custody.
