CHICAGO — The man accused of executing four people on a CTA Blue Line train in Forest Park was in court Friday.
Rhanni Davis, 30, of Chicago, faces four first-degree murder charges for the Labor Day shooting.
The hearing Friday was short, just an update on the case as it heads to trial. A judge detained Davis the last time he was in court.
Earlier this month, prosecutors told the court the vast network of CTA cameras helped piece together what happened in the early morning hours of Sept. 2.
While prosecutors say Davis wore a mask when he got on a Blue Line train and shot and killed four people, cameras did get a clear image of Davis and were able to catch up to him about 90 minutes later on a Pink Line train.

Davis was found with the gun, prosecutors say, was used in the shooting and gun residue was found on Davis’ hands.
They also say there was no interaction between the victims and the shooter prior to Davis killing them.
