Three teenagers rushed to hospital after being shot near United Center in Chicago

Three teenagers were shot in Chicago .

The three young adults were reportedly shot near United Center on the Near West Side, police said.

According to the Chicago Sun Times , an 18-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 19-year-old man was shot in the ribs at approximately 6.56 p.m. in the 100 block of North Wolcott Avenue, near a United Center parking lot.

A 15-year-old boy was also shot in the hand and grazed in the abdomen. The 19-year-old and 18-year-old were reportedly in critical condition when they were taken to Stroger Hospital, while the 15-year-old was said to be in good condition.

Their families reported they were undergoing surgery.

Police have not disclosed the circumstances of the shooting at this time, and no one is currently being held in custody.

ABC7 spoke with one of the victim’s brothers, Thomas Kendall, who said that his brother, who is 18 years old, was out with his friends on the way to a Lil Durk concert at the United Center.
