GENEVA, Ill. (WGN) — Preparations started early Sunday for the 49th annual Craft Fair at Geneva High School.
“Seeing the fruition of all of our hard work, come together on that day. Today, just looking at how well-organized everything is,” said Carla Durrant, President of the Geneva Women’s Club. “And we’re going to make more money than we did any other year.”
The craft fair is hosted Durrant and the Geneva Women’s Club, which features more than 100 vendors and plenty of baked goods.
“We have a large variety of items here and we made sure were didn’t have the same vendors next to each other,” said Debbie Walker, who co-chairs the event. “So, as you’re walking through every booth is a different experience. What you see here is unbelievable from a variety perspective.”
Completely run by volunteers, 100% of the proceeds from the Geneva Craft Fair and corresponding bake sale benefit eight Fox Valley charities.
