I think I’ve found my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Located in the western suburbs, close to my home, Good Tequila in Elk Grove Village.
My wife and I stumbled upon this place a couple of weeks ago after a long day at work. It was late—around 9:30 PM on a weekday—and we were looking for something nearby. I’d never been to Good Tequila before, but I noticed they were still open, so we decided to give it a try.
Tucked away in a strip mall off Arlington Heights Road, this restaurant might not catch your eye from the outside, but as soon as you walk in, you’re transported. The interior is absolutely charming! Each table and chair is uniquely handcrafted and painted in vibrant, colorful Latino motifs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home.
When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t very crowded, but our server greeted us with such kindness and enthusiasm. He never rushed us, consistently checked in, and made sure we had everything we needed.
