JOLIET, Ill. Authorities are searching for a driver who fled the scene of an overnight crash in Joliet that left one man hospitalized.

The individuals involved in the crash may also be connected to a fight that occurred at a local bar prior to the incident.

What we know

Joliet police were called just before 3 a.m. Sunday to the area of North Chicago Street and Benton Street for a crash with injuries.

A Chevrolet Aveo, driven by a 34-year-old Joliet man, and a Saturn Aura with an unidentified driver were traveling southbound on North Chicago Street when the crash occurred.
