A taste of Italy is coming to the Chicago suburbs courtesy of Giada De Laurentiis.
The celeb chef has partnered with PENN Entertainment to open two restaurants that will be part of future Hollywood Casinos in Aurora and Joliet.
The restaurants will be De Laurentiis first in the Chicago area.

According to a press release, the Joliet location, named Sorellina, is expected to open in late 2025.
The Aurora location, named Sorella, is expected to open in “the first half of 2026.”
Menus will feature of pizza and pastas and can accommodate 170 diners, the press release said.
“I am thrilled to partner with PENN Entertainment to bring fresh restaurant concepts to their exciting new Chicagoland properties,” said De Laurentiis in the press release. “The two spaces are complementary but ultimately offer different aesthetics. Joliet’s Sorellina, meaning ‘little sister’ in Italian, will be light, young and casual. Aurora’s Sorella, meaning ‘sister’ in Italian, is more formal and refined. Both focus on using high-quality Italian ingredients to create a truly unforgettable culinary experience.”…
