Man shot near Chicago Union Station

CHICAGO — A man is recovering after being shot in the West Loop overnight.

The 28-year-old was near Dylan’s Bar, 118 South Clinton, when another man fired a shot, striking him in the left leg around 1:50 a.m., according to a preliminary police report. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition. The gunman was last seen heading north on Clinton, but no description was immediately available.

In a brief media statement, CPD said the victim “was involved in a verbal altercation inside an establishment with an unknown male offender.
