Around 450 Pounds of Cocaine & Heroin Seized From Massive Drug Bust in Morris

A Bakersfield, California man could spend the rest of his life in prison for allegedly dealing massive amounts of drugs in Grundy County. 28-year-old Tirath Singh was charged with Manufacturing and Delivering Over 900 grams of Heroin and Cocaine, both super class X felonies and for the Unlawful Possession of Over 900 grams of Heroin and Cocaine, both class one felonies.

The Grundy County State’s Attorney’s Office told WCSJ that Singh is accused of possessing over 900 grams of cocaine and over 900 grams of heroin with the intent to deliver at the Romines Truck Stop on Route 47 in Morris during the early morning hours on Thursday, March 6th.

Prosecutors also said a safety check on Singh’s semi-truck was conducted due to the truck being parked for over 16 hours in the parking lot of the truck stop. During the investigation, Singh gave consent to search the vehicle and more than 360 pounds or 163 kilos of cocaine and nearly 90 pounds or 40 kilos of heroin was seized…
