Oswego police arrested an Aurora man Wednesday night following a road rage incident in the area of Douglas Road and Wiesbrook Drive. 22-year-old Emerson Guerrero was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an investigation into what was initially reported as a shots fired incident.
According to police, a 911 call came in reporting a suspected shots fired situation at around 7:50 p.m. Officers quickly identified the vehicles involved and detained and questioned Guerrero and a woman. During the investigation, officers learned that the two parties involved met in a parking lot in the 2400 block of Route 30 and had a disagreement. The woman left in her truck and said she heard a loud noise and felt something hit her truck as she drove down Wiesbrook Drive. It was determined that Guerrero threw a metal hand tool at her vehicle. No weapons or evidence of a gunshot were discovered.
While Guerrero was in custody, it was learned that he had a no bond warrant out of Kane County for violation of pretrial release on an aggravated battery charge. Guerrero was taken to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville. The woman was released without charges…
