Two Chicago Men Arrested in Lake County on Drug Trafficking, Gun Charges

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Two Chicago men face felony charges following their arrest Friday after authorities seized more than 2.2 kilograms of cocaine and a loaded pistol during a traffic stop in Lake County.

David Hernandez, 29, and Yastin S. Zaragoza-Barragan, 27, were arrested after an investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Group (SIG) and the FBI’s Chicago Field Division.

Authorities received a tip that the men were trafficking drugs through Lake County. Investigators conducted a traffic stop near Interstate 94 and Route 60 after observing the suspects’ vehicle in the area…
