Illinois has had a week or so of relative calm when it comes to weather. That may be about to end according to a new warning just shared by multiple storm chasers that say the Land of Lincoln is now expected to be in the path of dangerous weather expected to peak in the last part of April.
One of the most well known storm chasers is Reed Timmer who starred in the reality series Tornado Chasers more than a decade ago. Reed just shared a warning about a weather pattern that should mean a return to explosive thunderstorm development. You can see that Illinois is a part of the area he’s talking about.
Reed isn’t the only storm chaser/meteorologist that thinks we’re about to see strong storms begin to roll through the Midwest again soon. He has parts of western Illinois in his warned area also…
