Their Wrigleyville location is long gone, and the tradition of Bar Louie closing restaurants continues across the United States.
The Latest Bankruptcy Filing
The reason why? It’s what is being described as “macroeconomic pressures” like:
- Inflation
- Rising operating costs
- Customers cutting back on dining out

Bar Louie, alongside their announcement of the bankruptcy filing, is closing 13 more restaurants.
