A 27-year-old woman from Worth is facing two felony charges after police say she grabbed a nurse by the neck at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital.
Palos Heights officers were called to the hospital on April 23 for a report of a battery involving a patient. The woman, identified as Vyasiah Lane, had been brought in by another agency for medical care.
“She grabbed her around the neck,” Deputy Chief John Parnitzke said. “Something in her just kind of turned off, and it escalated from there.”…
