The City of Sandwich recognized four outgoing alderpersons for their service during Monday’s city council meeting. Bill Littlebrant, Rebecca Johnson, Bill Fritsch, and Rick Whitecotton received plaques from Mayor Todd Latham after officially vacating their seats to the new alderpersons that had just been sworn into service.
Littlebrant took one last opportunity to thank the council and city staff for their hard work over the past four years and noted that the goal has always been to work on behalf of the residents to make life in Sandwich better each day.
“Just a thank you again to everybody. Really appreciate it. Same sentiments as Fred (Kreinbrink). I think sometimes debate is lost these days, and I think that we’ve done a pretty decent job of trying to maintain that decorum. So appreciate y’all. Thank you.”…
