J.H. Rose High School had several national winners at the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference this summer.

Twenty eight students from Rose were among the 13,000 participants from across the world at the competition held in Chicago, Illinois.

Brena Gauland placed second in Life Smarts, Alexis and Samantha Dessofy placed 10th in Publication Design, Henry Walter and Connor Greenleaf placed 10th in Business Plan, and Keller Fraley and Will D’Alonzo placed in the top 15 for Business Financial Plan.

Students attended the conference to enhance their business skills, expand their networks and participate in more than 70 business and technology related competitive events.

In addition to the competitions, students attended educational workshops, saw exhibits and had a chance to hear business speakers address various topics.
