Lockport, IL – Will County authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday night in Lockport Township.
Deputies from the Will County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of gunfire around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Arthur Avenue and Rosalind Street. Upon arrival, deputies found around 20 spent handgun shell casings along Arthur Avenue. They later discovered that a residence in the 2100 block of Arthur Avenue had been struck by gunfire.
