The “Cop on a Rooftop” Fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois is happening today. Members of the Joliet Police Department will participate in the annual “Cop on a Rooftop” fundraiser. Officers and professional staff will be collecting donations and engaging with the community while stationed on the rooftop at the Dunkin’ at 30-11 Plainfield Road in Joliet. You’ll see cops on the rooftop from 5 a.m. until noon today.
