A man is facing a list of charges after a police officer stopping in for a drink thwarts a West Chicago gas station holdup.
43-year-old Filip Simonovic faces felony counts of attempted armed robbery with a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon as well as misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol and transportation of open alcohol by a driver.
