The Minooka Police Department’s K9 dog Rueger is retiring. Since 2014, Rueger’s work has directly led to the seizure of substantial quantities of illegal narcotics and U.S. currency including: 68,000 grams of cannabis, 16,000 grams of cocaine, 6,000 grams of methamphetamine, 4,000 grams of heroin, 1,440 MDMA pills and over $283,000 in illicit currency.
