SUGAR GROVE, Ill. (WGN) — A man is dead after he was fatally struck by a truck after jumping from a moving vehicle in the western suburbs overnight.
According to police, the incident unfolded along Il-56, between Hankes Road and Golf View Road in Sugar Grove, just after 1 p.m. Monday.

Officers were initially called to the scene following a report of an accident in the area with injuries, but when they arrived, they found a 35-year-old man unresponsive on the road.
