The Illinois Work Net Center has been quiet for the past couple of weeks which is a good thing. That’s where WARN notices are posted when an employer notifies the state of Illinois of layoff events that are about to happen. Unfortunately, that quiet period is over as there’s another notice that many Illinois workers are about to be job hunting. This new posting says that IG Design Group Americas, Inc. located at 21350 SW Frontage Road in Shorewood, Illinois is about to let 150 workers go in what is described as a “mass layoff”.
