In Wheaton, Illinois, a young, beautiful German shepherd had been abandoned at a doggy daycare facility early last week. According to DuPage County Animal Services, the one-year-old friendly pup would do best if she could be fostered and in a home to relax and de-stress. Who can even imagine the abandonment she must have felt when her owner walked away?
The local animal control was called immediately. The dog has been on stray hold, but no one showed – no remorse and no feelings for this sensitive dog.
No one has any knowledge of her past, but rescuers are all doing their best to help.
Now named Sadie, the staff at the shelter describe her as friendly, and a dog who is focused on playing with her ball. As for her sociability, because of her high stress level at this time, it is difficult to assess her dog to dog compatibility. She has been reactive towards other dogs when separated by barriers…
