Aurora, Ill. — The Aurora Police Department shared on Friday, July 11 that a new ordinance would be in place to target reckless driving in the city.
The Aurora Police Department said that from 2020 to 2024, they have responded to 2,477 reckless driving reports, 335 drag racing complaints and an unidentified number of incidents involving injuries and property damage.
