A ground stop is in place at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport due to thunderstorms in the city’s suburbs.
According to a special weather statement, a storm over DuPage and Cook counties could produce gusty winds of up to 50 miles per hour, along with heavy rain as it pushes across the area.
