SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WGN) – One person has died after a crash on I-290 West in Schaumburg.
The Illinois State Police said the crash happened at around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday on I-290 westbound just east of Higgins Road.

SkyCam 9 flew over the crash and observed what appeared to be a U-Haul van underneath a tractor trailer.
A total of four vehicles were involved and one person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
