Minooka Police Officer Chris Presler Promoted To Sergeant

Minooka Police Officer Chris Pressler was promoted to Sergeant at the Minooka Village Board meeting last night.

The board heard an update from Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer.

“He’s a twelve year veteran of the Minooka Police Department. over the years, throughout his career, he has taken on some additional responsibilities and expanded his role within the department. He has been an officer in charge. This is a position that, during the absence of a sergeant, he fills that role as a supervisor. he has coordinated several, bicycle rodeo events, since he is a bicycle officer for the Minooka Police Department. He’s also the department’s, defensive tactics instructor. He would teach us new and veteran officers. Additionally, he is also a supervisor, for the Illinois law enforcement mobile field force team, where he has been to several deployments to assist, communities in Illinois and other states with, mutual aid and emergency responses.”…
