In a freak accident, a 49-year-old Minnesota woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in the parking lot of Wahlburgers in St. Charles last week. The tragedy occurred just prior to a 5th anniversary celebration of Wahlburgers’ opening at the location.
On Sunday, July 27, at approximately 12:58pm, the St. Charles Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the Wahlburgers parking lot in the 800 block of South Randall Road for a traffic crash in which a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
After tending to the victim, identified as Kelly Carlson of Blaine, Minnesota, authorities transported her by ambulance to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased…
