COOK COUNTY, Ill. (WGN) – Three people have been arrested for stealing $10,000 worth of merchandise from retails stores across Cook County.
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday, July 21, sheriff’s police investigators learned two women stole merchandise from an Alo store in Skokie and left the store in a black Chevrolet with no registration.
Later that same day, sheriff’s police pulled over a black Chevrolet in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood for not having registration. While searching the vehicle, investigators found bags containing Alo and Lululemon merchandise with sensors still attached, according to officials.
