Read the memo explaining why cops won’t be charged with shooting Dexter Reed

On Wednesday, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office announced that it will not pursue criminal charges against any of the Chicago police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Dexter Reed during a traffic stop last year. The office said it presented the findings of its investigation to a state panel, which subsequently concurred with the decision.
