Man arrested at O’Hare, charged in fatal Roseland shooting

CHICAGO (WBBM Newsradio) – A Chicago man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this year in the Roseland neighborhood.

Police said Flomont Johnson, 28, was arrested Friday at O’Hare International Airport. He is charged with first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

Authorities allege Johnson shot 52-year-old Eric McMillen on April 30 during an argument outside a home in the 11200 block of South Normal Avenue. McMillen, of the South Chicago neighborhood, was struck in the chest and abdomen. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office…
