Second arrest made in connection with ‘teen takeover’ at Glen Ellyn pool

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. (WGN) – A second arrest has been made in connection with a “teen takeover” at Glen Ellyn’s Sunset Pool in July.

The Glen Ellyn Police Department said on Wednesday, Sept. 4 that Alyah Collins was arrested for battery after the park district manager was pushed into the pool during the incident on Saturday, July 5.

Just before 5 p.m. that day, officers were called to Sunset Pool, located in the 400 block of Fairview Avenue, after receiving reports of a crowd of teens, estimated to be between 200 and 300, gathering together.
