I remember when my daughter was in preschool, I would go to pick her up in the afternoon. Many days, I heard the teacher tell another student to make good decisions. Unfortunately, for many criminals, they never do so they end up breaking the law.
Making the decision to break the law is usually a criminal’s first mistake, and it goes downhill from there. Usually, the jobs they’re trying to pull off are stupid crimes. In the end, they just end up in jail. The suspects aren’t going to make the right decision regardless.
Over the weekend in Joliet, a man didn’t make a good decision. Not only did he decide to break into cars to steal stuff, but he also thought the right time to do it was on a Sunday morning during the daylight, when most people are up and going.

As he was going through a neighborhood car to steal stuff, the victim saw the suspect and rushed out to his vehicle to stop him. When the thief tried to escape, the car owner beat him up and held him down until the cops could arrive to arrest him. A beating and arrest, not a good day for this criminal.
