Joliet, IL – Joliet Central High School was placed under a security protocol Thursday after police activity occurred near the campus, according to district officials.
The “Secure Building, Teach and Hold” protocol began earlier in the day under the direction of the Joliet Police Department. During this time, all exterior doors were locked, no one was allowed to enter or exit the building, and students remained in their classrooms while teaching continued.
