A suspect was in custody Wednesday morning, after police in west suburban Aurora said he shot up a vehicle and a home overnight, leading to an hours-long standoff.
Around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert of gunfire in the 100 block of South Fifth Street, and located a vehicle and home that had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported.
A short time later, a vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting was found in the 300 block of South Kendall Street, and several people fled from the car. One suspect barricaded himself inside a nearby home…
