Illinois State Police are investigating a shooting on the Veterans Memorial Tollway in Lemont on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident took place just after 1:00pm in the northbound lanes of I-355 near 127th Street. Lemont Police and State Troopers both were called to the scene, with Lemont arriving on scene to find a vehicle that had multiple bullet holes in it.
All lanes were shut down about 20 minutes later for cleanup and evidence gathering…
