Addison, IL – The Addison Police Department issued a statement Friday morning addressing growing public concern after residents spotted what appeared to be federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents near Village Hall and the police station.

According to the department’s Facebook post, multiple federal agents and vehicles were seen in recent days parked in public and semi-public lots between the Library and Village buildings. Police confirmed that while agents were visible in the area, they were not working with local law enforcement…
