Joliet Township Animal Control and the Joliet Police Department were sent to a home in the 1400 block of Burry St. in Joliet after neighbors complained of multiple dogs barking and strong animal odors coming from the property.
Once on the scene, 45 beagles were discovered in several cages and running loose in the home.
The homeowner agreed to relinquish the dogs and was cooperative. There did not appear to be any suspicion of cruelty. No arrests were made…
