On October 31st, officers responded to the 700 block of Brompton Lane for a report of large party which was charging admission and disturbing area residents. When officers arrived on scene they encountered hundreds of juveniles at the host residence.
Resident Duane Bell (54) was cited for loud noise and indicated that he would shut the party down. Officers were later called back to the residence as the party and noise continued to grow. During the response, two juveniles were located nearby and treated for alcohol-related illnesses.
Finally, at approximately 1:46 am on November 1st, officers were once again summoned to the block for reports of gunshots being fired. Officers canvassed the area and found evidence of shots being fired. There are no reports of injuries currently, and the Bolingbrook Police Department Investigations Division is continuing to investigate the incident…
