DHS Slams Pritzker as Undocumented Officer Arrest Shakes Illinois Police Force

A Hanover Park police officer has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed he was living in the U.S. without legal status. The case of Officer Radule Bojovic has ignited a political storm, with DHS blaming Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker for enabling “illegal aliens” to serve in law enforcement. Officer Detained by ICE

ICE officers arrested Radule Bojovic, a member of the Hanover Park Police Department, after a DHS review found that he had overstayed a B2 tourist visa and lacked legal residency status. According to federal authorities, Bojovic’s case surfaced during Operation Midway Blitz, an ongoing immigration enforcement initiative. DHS stated that Bojovic had been living in the United States unlawfully for a decade.

DHS Condemns Illinois Leadership

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin issued a scathing statement blaming Governor J.B. Pritzker for the situation. “Governor J.B.
