The Springs at Monarch Landing, located in Naperville, Illinois, received two state honors in 2025. The Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA), which represents over 450 long-term care centers in Illinois, named The Springs the Best Long-Term Care Center in the state. Roseline Tyson, a nurse at The Springs, was also named Nurse of the Year by the Illinois Long Term Care Nurses Association (LTCNA). These awards recognize the facility and staff for their work in senior care.
A ceremony was held at The Springs to acknowledge these recognitions. Attendees included Jackie Webb of the IHCA and Leslie Ruffing, representing Illinois State Senator Laura Ellman’s office. During the event, Ruffing spoke about The Springs’ role in the Naperville community. Elizabeth Vanderwal, Administrator of The Springs, credited the staff for their efforts and said the awards reflect the team’s commitment.
The Springs has received other national and state recognitions. It holds five-star ratings in all categories from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a distinction held by fewer than two percent of nursing homes nationwide. The facility was ranked #1 in Illinois by Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes for 2026 and has appeared in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Homes listings from 2019 through 2026…
