CHICAGO (WGN) — Now that the government is reopening, people who rely on SNAP benefits should be seeing them again soon — but the immediate need for food assistance remains high.
Local churches and food pantries are hosting more giveaways Sunday while Illinois residents wait for their SNAP benefits to be restored.
