This family-owned, Chicagoland Brazilian steakhouse is the embodiment of the American dream

When Ana Santos-Vitelo immigrated from Brazil more than a decade ago, she carried a dream that felt almost unreachable: opening her own restaurant. She spent years working as a server and hostess, saving every dollar she could. There was no safety net, no backup plan—just determination and a belief that if she worked hard enough, she could one day build something of her own.

“I used all my small savings and opened the restaurant without a plan B. Failure was not an option,” she shared.
