It’s been a rough week for eagles in the southwestern suburbs.
A resident in Crest Hill spotted two bald eagles in a driveway Friday morning. They were locked in each other’s talons and unable to disengage. It’s part of a mating ritual or territorial fight. The eagles lock talons in the sky, if one doesn’t let go, they can end up tangled.
Animal Control and volunteers were able to disentangle the birds…
