An argument between a husband and wife leads to aggravated assault charges.
On Friday night, just before 9:30, a New Lenox police officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Hawthorne Lane. The complainant told police that she was involved in an argument with their spouse. During the argument, the husband brandished a large hunting knife within a few inches of the complainant, while making threats to harm the complainant.
