Printpack Inc. will shutter its Elgin, IL, manufacturing facility, eliminating 111 jobs as the Atlanta-based packaging giant grapples with what it describes as “ongoing operational challenges.”
The closure, detailed in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filed with Illinois last month, marks a consolidation move for the 68-year-old company, which operates 17 facilities in North America and employs 3,200 workers.
