On November 28, 2025, DuPage County authorities responded to an incident at Lucky Strike Naperville, a bowling alley at 1515 Aurora Avenue. Police officers on patrol saw a silver firearm under the driver’s seat of a black Mercedes SUV parked outside.
Later, Asante Glover, 35, of the 5600 block of Hoyne Avenue, left the bowling alley and entered the vehicle. Officers approached Glover. After he exited the car, police found a loaded Glock 45 handgun with one bullet in the chamber and a full magazine, along with about ten extra rounds.
Glover, who has prior felony convictions, was taken into custody. He is charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Repeat Felony Offender (Class X Felony) and one count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon – Prior Conviction (Class 2 Felony)…
