An immersive “entertainment experience” at a busy suburban mall is shutting down less than a year after opening.
Wonderverse Oakbrook, which opened at the former Sears store at Oakbrook Center Mall, will close Dec. 22 “as the venue prepares to transition to a new concept,” a message posted by the organization to Facebook said.
“If you have Wonderverse Play Cards or certificates, we encourage you to redeem them thru December 21,” the message read. “We welcome you to come and enjoy our great food, service, arcade and immersive experiences up until that time!”…
