Illinois bishop expected to replace Cardinal Dolan as head of NY Archdiocese: sources

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A bishop from Illinois is expected to replace Cardinal Timothy Dolan as archbishop of New York, sources told 1010 WINS on Wednesday.

The sources said they’re hearing that Pope Leo will appoint Bishop Ronald Hicks, 58, who leads the Diocese of Joliet, to replace Dolan.
